2024 is the 50th founding anniversary of Hwa Chong Junior College. To commemorate this momentous milestone, the HCJC Alumni has planned a year-long series of events and activities for our alumni, teachers, principals and staff.

“ ‘华初’ is illustrated in Chinese calligraphy, referencing our school’s rich Chinese culture. In a similar manner, ‘50’ is calligraphed, intertwining with ‘华初’ in a lively and fluid manner. The two different textures of calligraphy further enhances the dynamic appearance of the logo. While it has a simple concept, not only does its unique composition makes it memorable, it effectively encompasses the school’s spirit and rich history through its vibrant colours and calligraphic styles.”
